More info

Robby, the speech interface for MSX. With dynamic frequency control and build in Bios, this thing brings you back to the eighties when all the other systems got speech interfaces, except the MSX. Let's rewrite history together!

Developed by Junsoft, this new valuable addition to your MSX collection makes it possible to use MSX-Basic call commands to add speech to your own programs. An Api for machine code is also available. Robby supports two modes in MSX Basic: using the default so called allophones or with using the international ASCII IPA character set for easier input of text.

Because of the dynamic frequency control it is possible to map Robby's voice to music data (BPM). We hope developers will build in support for this in their trackers.
